radio

Radio is an underrated medium that can be great. Case-in-point, the Subway spot below took home a Mercury.

Subway "Badonkadonk"

Our Toys R Us TV campaign didn't translate into radio, so we took a different approach and focused less on the toys and more on the kids who play with them. These spots were totally unscripted in an effort to get 100% genuine reactions from the kids.

Toys R Us "Barbie"
Toys R Us "Power Rangers"
Toys R Us "Lego"

Occasionally at BBDO Atlanta, we'd get a call from the NY office to help with an assignment. Below is a radio campaign I wrote and produced for Lowe's.

Lowe's "Frank's Grill"
Lowe's "Ted's Lawnmower"

For the outdoor outfitter, REI, we came up with this weird super low energy campaign. Aside from writing them, I also lent my voice as one of the characters (my proceeds went to a SAG charity).

REI "Hungry"
REI "Stalagmites"
REI "Whale"

Here's another REI radio campaign comprised of spots that would air depending on the weather conditions in that particular metro area.

REI "Rain"
REI "Snow"
REI "Cold"
